With a passion for shaping ideas and marketplaces, Scotty is the founder of A Girls Guide to Cars, a consumer content site missioned to change how women think about and buy cars. Launched in 2013, A Girls Guide to Cars quickly became the top automotive site for women, reaching more than 2 million consumers a month, by presenting cars on women’s terms through digital content, social media and live events.

As a leader in automotive media, Scotty was the first woman to serve as president of the International Motor Press Association, is a member of the World Car Awards Steering Committee and serves on the board of Women in Automotive. Prior to A Girls Guide to Cars, Scotty wrote for the New York Times, Town & Country and Entrepreneur, co-authored the book “Stew Leonard, My Story” and produced The Luxury Summit conferences for American Express.
