Customer Care Training Manager
Tania is a Customer Care Training Manager at AutoNation with 12 years of automotive experience supporting 316+ locations across the U.S. Collaborating with the Learning & Development team, Tania crafts training initiatives that include Customer Care, Collision, Variable Operations, and various Onboarding programs.
As a young Portuguese immigrant growing up in New York, Tania quickly learned that to achieve goals and dreams, only hard work and perseverance would get the job done.
Before working in Automotive, Tania was a professional makeup artist and account executive at Nars Cosmetics where she led the talent development in the Northeast region accounts of the U.S.
As a long-time automotive enthusiast, Tania turned her hobby into a career and began selling Volkswagens in 2008, helping to develop equity mining and lease retention programs between Sales and Service. Tania also helped build the dealership’s first YouTube channel.
Tania is an active member of the ATD Atlanta Chapter and is certified in Facilitation Skills. She is also a proud recipient of the 2019 AutoNation Above and Beyond Award. Tania completed Architecture Drafting and Design courses at Saunders Trades and Technical, as well as Management and Merchandising courses at Berkeley College in White Plains, NY. In her late teens, she studied acting, public speaking, and improvisation with Barbizon School of Modeling.
Tania founded a VW and Audi Car Club in NY that was responsible for organizing over a decade of car shows and fundraisers associated with supporting the community and empowering women in automotive, like Eurothon and The Ladies of H2Oi. Tania’s freelance writing and photography have been published in Golf+ magazine, a variety of online forums like VWVortex and UROtuning, and more recently S3 Magazine.
Now living in Atlanta, GA, Tania enjoys spirited drives through the smokey mountains in her 2019 GolfR, bringing her a 2002 GTI VR6 to the local Caffeine and Octane car show, and is a media contributor to a PROAM Drifting Program.
