We are looking for experienced automotive OEM Field Sales candidates to work in various roles across the US. Specifically the Field Sales Operations Manager position is a critical support and leadership role within the business center. This position is primarily responsible for managing daily sales operations along with coordinating the efforts of the Area Sales Managers. This is a role that will prepare the candidate for advancement into various senior management positions. While the candidate will be involved in long-term strategic planning, the main thrust behind the role is to manage all facets of daily sales operations including the sales team.

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales management experience
  • 3 years of Area Manager or District Manager experience in a metro automotive market with extensive dealer facing experience
  • Supply chain experience
  • Field operations or marketing experience in a regional staff role at another OEM
  • Must have a clear understanding of the field's role in driving retail sales and profitability for the company
  • Prior retail solutions/activation sales experience
  • Ability to relocate now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience in sales operations, small business, incentives, marketing and (or) product marketing in a regional OEM office.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to evaluate/provide constructive feedback from dealer contacts
  • Strong written and oral communications
  • Ability to multi-task and organize priorities
  • Leadership and training expertise
  • Strategic forward planning
  • Excel in building positive working relationships
  • Entrepreneurial individual with a history of leadership and achievement
