Gary brings over 21 years of automotive experience, thirteen plus of those being consulting in-dealership on sales process, digital marketing, online lead generation and management. Industry firsts include social media services in 2007, lead response scoring in 2010 and digital scorecards in 2011, reputation management services and more. Gary’s initial steps in the industry were with, working with online leads and sales processes.

Since 2007, Gary has been sought out for speaking, consulting, webinar/seminal and columnist/blogging roles covering all aspects of digital automotive operation in variable operations. One of the first 10 nationally known digital thought leaders, his involvement with dealer-direct, vendor- and OEM-led programs has yielded unmatched results.

Lexus hired Gary to facilitate their digital education and summits in 2008, which resulted in some of the highest lead-response improvements in Lexus Western Area. Similar results have come out of 20 Group, TTT/Facilitator and OEM-based performance group programs, including highest -closing rate metrics for Toyota’s Denver Region at Dolan Auto Group (Reno, NV).

General Motors called on Gary during his tenures at eVox and Edmunds for digital marketing, tool and imagery solutions from 2002 through 2007. Other OEMs leveraging his expertise include Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Volkswagen between 2009 and 2018 for various digital initiatives.

Gary has worked with over 800 dealerships throughout his consulting tenure, spoken at over 40 conferences and has contributed over 300 articles and blogs including contributions to DrivingSales, J.D. Power & Associates, DrivingSales and Dealer Refresh.
