Role Summary

  • Lead Major League Soccer official partnership setting strategy, activation plans and event and campaign execution
  • Manage ski and outdoor strategic brand positioning identifying new partnerships and creative experiences that leverage existing resorts and other partnerships across the Experiential Marketing and PR portfolios and engage and excite Audi owners and potential owners
  • Execute the US market extension of global amateur golf tournament, quattro Cup, consisting of 90 local club tournaments and one national finals for up to 400 participants and guests
  • Remain “culturally curious” bring big, fresh thinking, identify new approaches, partners and opportunities suggestions and suggest efficient solutions across all work
  • Manage internal processes of budget management and reconciliation, contract management, vehicle procurement and scheduling, agency management and vendor procurement and RFP processes

  • Work cross-functionally integrating Partnerships into larger Marketing, PR, social, and CRM strategies and initiatives and support other campaigns with Partnership assets and efficiencies where possible 

Responsibilities:

Role Responsibilities
    • Manage strategy, planning, and execution of exclusive hospitality experience for owners, conquests and VIPs across MLS, outdoor sports, quattro Cup
  • Create programs that authentically convey the Audi brand ethos and deliver tangible results: sales leads, prospects, test drives, dealer visits, social engagement, buzz
  • Identify efficiencies within portfolio of assets, budgets, across departments and within agency teams
  • Foster cross-departmental transparency and integration 
  • Work with vendor partners to effectively plan and implement all initiatives
  • Lead agency team to ensure operational excellence
  • Lead Major League Soccer partnership (45%)
  • Manage ski and outdoor portfolio and positioning (25%)  
  • Execute the US market quattro Cup (20%)
    • Manage entry and communication for World Final participants
  • Remain “culturally curious” (5%)
  • Develop deep understanding of experiential platforms and opportunities as they relate to partnership integration, business-to-business environments and consumer engagement
  • Share luxury brand best-in-class case studies
  • Identify large-scale brand stunt and amplification opportunities
  • Manage internal processes (5%)
  • Data capture and metrics reporting, processing of administrative paperwork (i.e. insurance certificates, event contracts, billings, registration assistance), budget reconciliation, manage agency and vendor RFP process
  • Manage daily logistics and coordinate with key stakeholders (experiential agency, travel agency, internal fleet manager, Audi AG, Audi Field and Dealers) to ensure proper execution
    • Work with Audi AG colleagues to ensure global consistency with strategy and messaging

Educational requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Experience requirements:

Experience

  • 5-7 of experiential marketing experience required
  • 3-5 years of automotive experience preferred

  • Expert Microsoft office skills. Knowledge of PhotoShop, database, travel and ticketing software preferred

  • Team leadership – set strategy and pace and establish trust confidence with agency team and sponsorship partners

Work Flexibility
  • Full-time position in Herndon office
  • Frequent travel (up to 40%) domestic travel to events
  • Occasional international travel for events/meetings
  • Will require nights and weekends based on events schedule and workload.
