Role Summary

  • Lead the development of parts and accessory sales for the Audi Brand in the US
  • Drive profitable growth for both Audi of America and the Audi dealer network
  • Achieve a compelling customer proposition and a sustainable level of service for independent and collision repair facilities
  • Be an active member of the Audi After Sales team in developing the overarching strategy, as well as operationally delivering the quantitative and qualitative objectives on a monthly and annual basis

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the annual AoA parts and accessory sales and profit objectives
  • Develop new accessories
  • Market parts and accessories for retail and wholesale
  • Lead the wholesale parts program for Audi in the US
  • Coordinate budgets for retail and wholesale parts programs
  • Coordinate Parts Dealer Council meetings with VW Brand and VW Group
  • Represent AoA on all parts and accessories topics with the Brand headquarters (Audi AG)
  • Manage the pricing operations for Audi with VW Group colleagues
  • Represent Audi to VW Group on logistics, procurement and accessory topics
  • Develop new Wholesale Parts Program with the new Wholesale Parts Manager
  • Select, induct and develop a network of wholesale dealers (circa 75)
  • Determine standards (including targets) and key processes for wholesale dealers, and performance-manage accordingly through the existing regional structures
  • Work with the Audi Academy to provide a bespoke career path for dealer wholesale staff with the appropriate induction, training and development support
  • Work closely with the Group and VW Wholesale Managers to develop (where appropriate) common system and process solutions (e.g. reporting / analysis and on-line ordering tool for customers)
  • Collaborate with other internal business functions (e.g. Parts Logistics, Pricing and Product Management) to ensure the wholesale channel requirements are well represented
  • Actively involve the Dealer Parts Council in seeking ways to improve the wholesale program to increasingly penetrate the sales and profit opportunity
  • Work with Audi After Sales Marketing on the development of the CRM tool and program, including campaigns, promotions and incentives for both existing and prospective customers
  • Coordinate quarterly meetings with Audi AG Accessory departments
  • Consider appropriate ‘rewards and recognition’ to incentivize dealer staff to excel in parts sales, accessory sales and customer service
